Today we had the Psychic Fair Benefit for Haiti Relief in Paksville, Canada and
the result was 3.350 $
All these proceeds (100%) go to MÉDECINS SANS FRONTIÈRES / DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS
All expenses were paid by the two women who organized it Cathy Whittall and Anita Roy.
The federal gov't matches the donation dollar for dollar.That's like a $40 donation per person!! Which means for this Benefit 6.700 $
Unfortunately only the money we got goes to Doctors Without Borders and the part from the federal government goes to CIDA.
Not knowing a lot about Cida I checked it on google and realized that the money will be most likely spent for salaries.
To be honest ... we are not very happy with this and would like that all the money goes to Doctors Without Boders because all the money they get and I mean ALL is used by only them.
